MOBILE, ALABAMA, [September 10, 2008] - ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, LLC has announced that it will be moving its operations at 1087 Downtowner Boulevard in Mobile to new project offices at the company’s construction site at 1 ThyssenKrupp Drive, P. O. Box 456, Calvert, Alabama, 36513. All Team Members of the carbon steel segment will be working at this new location beginning with the start of business on Monday, September 15, 2008.

The 65,000 square foot building that will act as the company’s headquarters on site until the permanent administrative building is completed, will not only house Team Members, but also representatives from some of the major contractors and vendors working with the project. “This is an exciting milestone for us,” said Scott Posey, Director of Communication for ThyssenKrupp Steel USA. “We’re moving home, which will not only make it easier for us to monitor progress, but will help us build an even closer synergy with our vendors and contractors that are working there. While we’ll miss our great neighbors in Mobile, ThyssenKrupp Drive is our home.”

The new physical and mailing address should be used for all company visitors, mailing and shipping. The company’s telephone numbers and extensions will not be affected by the move, and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA will continue to operate out of its current location on Downtowner Boulevard in Mobile.
