CALVERT, ALABAMA [December 1, 2009] ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA announced today that they will be holding a jobs fair on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the MOWA Band of Choctaw Indians tribal office located at 1080 West Red Fox Road in Mount Vernon, Alabama. ThyssenKrupp is investing $4.65 billion in constructing two state-of-the-art carbon steel and stainless steel processing facilities in Calvert, Alabama. Both facilities are scheduled to begin operations in 2010. When fully operational, they will provide the NAFTA market with 5.1 million metric tons of high quality value-added products for customers in the automotive, construction, pipe and tube, service center, and appliance industries.
