In 2007, ThyssenKrupp invested nearly $5 billion to create a steel company in Calvert, Alabama, to build a Team with hundreds of talented people charged with creating an exciting culture, overseeing the construction of one of the largest private projects in the U.S., and by 2010 to begin operations in the newest and most advanced carbon steel processing facility in the world.
In July 2010, anfter 2oo years of steel making in Germany, the first ThyssenKrupp steel coil in North America was produced.
The new and unknown can be unpredictable. Challenging. Strengthening. Exciting. Creating something new from a wild frontier takes courage, hard work and a belief that achievement, satisfaction and personal growth is the reward fro the work.
At ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, we are providing the unique opportunity to join a growing Team that is creating a company and culture that will set new standards in quality and customer service in the NAFTA steel market.
This is our project's recipe for success: assemble an upstanding, hard-working Team that knows how to have fun and work together to solve problems in new, surprising and creative ways.
ThyssenKrupp Steel USA is hiring for positions to help us operate our new multi-billion dollar state-of-the-art carbon steel processing facility that began operations in summer of 2010.
